This message was requested by the store owners with hope for the future during the challenging time in 2020.

"Tai" fish is a popular fish at New Year's Eve celebration dinner in Japan. So my concept was to incorporate a fish in a fun setting. The cherry blossom flower, "Sakura," is considered to be the national flower in Japan. This mural represents a big picture of the past, the present and the future in San Francisco.

The dots represent nature and natural resources. The past is represented by the Bay Bridge which has been built. The present is represented by the influence of the tech industries, whose foundation is binary numbers. The binary numbers are depicted floating in the air as the Internet is invisible.
